Who

Julian is: a consultant on software-enabled strategic execution, and coaches executive teams on the accompanying change process. Clients, ranging from start-ups to $25B, have included software companies; one of the largest commercial property developers in the US; pharmaceutical and medical device companies; the national petroleum agencies in Venezuela, and in South Africa; a German communications technology company; a mid-Eastern regional power generation and distribution company. Julian teaches Complex Decision Making for the Xavier University Executive Development Program. He also has worked with non-profits both as a consultant on performance management, and as a volunteer.
Julian and wife Vicky have two sons Kent (12) and Kirk (9). Home is in a hilly, wooded Cincinnati suburb during school months, with summers invariably at a quiet lake in Northern Michigan.

Julian holds a BA in Economics (honors program) from the Ateneo University (Manila, R.P.), and an MBA from the University of Dayton.
At Mobil International (NY), Julian developed an organizational effectiveness evaluation program for its different subsidiaries. Julian was drawn to an Ohio medical device company, and as Director of Strategic Market Planning he developed the product and market development plan that became the basis for a successful public offering. As Director for Technology Development, Julian also participated in international forums and instrument standards-setting organizations. Julian took medical and instrumentation training and courses at the Université Louis Pasteur Strasbourg (FR), Royal Academy of Bath (UK), and Johns Hopkins (US). He also took Stanford’s professional development courses on strategic execution and advanced project management. Julian co-founded and led a company that developed and licensed out a high-frequency, high-amp, high-power-factor power technology, which received Ohio’s Edison award.
